Got some Martina compilation DVD's! Part 1...

[SAT-I need more room!!]

I've been trading with people on Martina's website, getting stuff that I never got on tape. Well one girl gave me a HELLUVA deal, sending me 7 DVD's! That's right, she transfered her stuff to DVD!

I know this won't be of great interest to many of you, mostly just Ken, Lora and maybe Kathy. But I thought I'd share.

The first part was a regular weekly concert series on the old TNN network. Haven't watched it yet, but am excited about seeing early songs like Cheap Whiskey and Cry on the Shoulder of the Road, which she usually doesn't do these days.

The second part I never even knew about until the girl sent this! It was on this DVD and since I requested Monday Night Concerts, she just recorded the whole thing!

What were the Monday night concerts? I never got to see any of those. Was it always country artists?

That was really nice of this lady to record these for you. Are you paying her anything, or is this all just out of the goodness of her heart.

That's very cool! I vaguely remember that Monday Night Concert program, but I don't know if I ever saw Martina on it or not. Of course, I really wasn't too familiar with her back then.

I never heard of the Olympics program--was that only shown in Denmark? And if so, how did this girl get ahold of it? Just curious...

Since it was a Ricky Scaggs hosted thing, I guess it was all Country!

Well, I DID send her a few things on video she didn't have, but she sent me WAY more stuff.

I'm guessing just Denmark otherwise she probably wouldn't have bothered to list it. Although I suppose she coulda just to say where it came from. Anyway, there is a LOT of trading at Martina's site. I sent something to a girl in Poland and she sent me a crapload of magazine clippings!
