LOL! ;D That Leonard Nimoy song is strange in itself, but that video - yikes! Definitely low-budget! And what on earth was Tiny Tim thinking when he covered these songs? That Stairway to Heaven has to be the oddest version of the song I've ever heard.

I tried to find the video for "Rock School" by the band Heaven, to no avail. If I come across it i'll link it.
It sets the standard for bad metal videos of the 80's.

Now Dawn --- you just think the Tiny Tim version of Stairway to Heaven is odd because you heard the Led Zep version first. If you had heard the Tiny Tim version first, maybe it would be the Zep version you thought was odd. Or maybe not. ;D

I tried to find the video for "Rock School" by the band Heaven... I seem to remember them doing a version of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". As I recall, their version was ok, but there were a lot of other versions that were better.

Yup, Leonard Nimoy singing the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins - that video is definitely ultra low budget LOL
Not his only vocal effort, of course. I believe on Golden Throats he also covered "If I had a hammer". Can't remember what else, I am sure there was more than one.

If nothing else, Beavis and Butthead turned me on to a lot of music I'd have never heard before. I absolutely LOVE this song and this group, but the video it a bit strange (although I like it). Beavis and Butthead alternated between yelling "YES!!" everytime they showed La Camilla, they yelled "OH NO!! NO!!" when they showed Alexander or the other guy (his name escapes me): www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYT2aWavXlcI liked this song too, and actually bought the cd single (I was afraid to commit to an entire CD back when they were still pretty expensive). However, the video leaves a bit to be desired. Butthead figured he had a shot with the lead singer because she had braces too. At the part where you see her underwear, Beavis though it was cool, and Butthead yelled at him to "stop looking at his woman's panties!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMN9yKQIk2wI once saw an interview with Mike Judge where he said that the lead singer of this group actually gave him this video to skewer. They liked his send-up so much, they gave him another video to skew. The looks on B&B's faces when this played were priceless, and their screams of "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" when the lead singer hits that high note at the end were hilarious www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMOeBTHbTUsThis, however, is the mother of all crappy videos (and songs, for that matter). As B&B so eloquently put it, "I'd hate to see the un-cool kids": www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQMwY66HdLk
