Well, kiddo, thanks to your posting this info I was actually able to catch at least part of the repeat of her performance.  She and I have something in common it seems--we both grew up singing the song, "I'll Fly Away". That really is one of my favorite songs--especially when all the harmony parts join in! The last time my whole family was together, (At my parents' 60th anniversary) we all sang that song for my folks and their friends (Actually WITH I guess--we were just up front... LOL!) Anyway, I enjoyed singing along with Martina on that one! ;D And I also MUST say that I owe you and Martina a debt of THANKS since thanks to the both of you I was able to see/hear Earl Scruggs and co perform as well! |
