Martina and Pat Benatar in concert on CMT!!!!!!

CMT has a show called Crossroads where country stars get to perform live with their rock idols. The Dixies have performed with James Taylor, Brooks and Dunn with ZZ Top.

Well, us Martina fans were DYING for one with her, with either Pat, Heart or Linda Ronstadt. CMT made the announcement below:

Martina McBride will team with Pat Benatar, and Dolly Parton will join Melissa Etheridge for tapings of CMT Crossroads in October. Admission to both tapings is by invitation only. The Parton-Etheridge episode, set to tape Oct. 8 in Los Angeles, debuts Nov. 28. McBride’s collaboration with Benatar tapes Oct. 16 in Nashville for a Dec. 12 premiere. The Kenny Chesney-John Mellencamp episode, which has already been taped, will debut Oct. 3. 09/15/03

Well, I got the heads up from you about this last night, Sat, and FINALLY Pat's fan club got around to sending me an e-mail about it. I think this will be a cool thing. I can't wait to see it. I'm also hyped up for the Etheridge-Parton Crossroads show. Whoo!!!

Both shows should be good. I even told a guy here at work who doesn't like country, and it piqued his interest!
