As if there was any question!  Of course there will be naysayers that will point out that she didn't have to beat Faith and Shania, but they didn't make the cut now, did they? Plus, she has beaten them other years! Another thing that worries me is her becoming the "Flavor of the Month" not be her own doing, but by the industry. All I know is, she is the best singer on the PLANET and she deserved this award!!! Great job! |

Oh Yeah I agree - a couple of weeks back - she was on I believe Austin City Limits and she did a fantastic performance. One of the songs she did was The Foundations' Baby Now That I Found You - a superb cover ,her band is excellent.
