Kenny Loggins - Did alright in his solo career, espeically when a soundtrack was involved. Matter of fact, those are about the only songs I like, the soundtrack songs. I'll take his years with Jim Messina over his solo career anyday. Favorites: Danger Zone, Footloose Loggins & Messina - One of the great duets of the 70s. They always sounded like they were having so much fun just making music, and their songs reflected that. Should have stayed together. Favorites: Your Mama Don't Dance, Thinking of You, Danny's Song, My Music, Watching the River Run, House at Pooh Corner Love - ? Patty Loveless - Might be one of those country artists I need to check out, especially if she did a bluegrass album. I love bluegrass. Loverboy - Outside of Working for the Weekend, wasn't really crazy about this group. He WAS Mr Soundtrack, wasn't he?? LOL! Patty's Bluegrass album was called Mountain Soul from 01. And last year she did a Christmas Bluegrass album. Did you comment on the day I had Allison Krause?

Kenny Loggins--Always liked him and his music. Had some good tunes that are a pleasant part of my memory bank. Faves: Footloose, I'm All Right, This is It, Don't Fight It, Whenever I Call You Friend, Celebrate Me Home (the latter two are my "favorite favorites" of his. LOL!) Loggins and Messina--More pleasant memories. LOVE the songs "My Music" and "House at Pooh Corner". Also like "Angry Eyes". My dad hated "Your Mama Don't Dance", so I enjoyed playing that at full blast when he was around, just to torment him. ;D Love--I know next to nothing about this group. My brother had an album by them, but I don't remember him ever playing it. LOL! Patty Loveless--Never cared much for her. Her voice is kinda nasally, or something. I mildly like that song "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" (I think that was her, wasn't it?) LOL! Loverboy--I know they're cheesy and all, but I really like 'em. ;D Mike Reno was pretty good lookin' back in the day. Not anymore. I also have a Greatest Hits CD of theirs! Your poor dad! LOL! You don't happen to know which Love album it is, do you?

I don't have a clue as to which album it was. I could ask him someday, if I think about it.

Kenny Loggins-He was a definite mainstay of 1980's soundtracks, such as "Top Gun" and "Caddyshack". (I hated Footloose with a passion).
Loggins and Messina-I liked "House At Pooh Corner", but admittedly, wasn't really into them that much.
Love-There was a band called Love? News to me.
Patty Loveless-Only song I know is "Cheating Lying Heart" (?), but other than that, I have no qualms with her. My mom is a HUGE fan of hers though.
Loverboy-I know they were big when I was born! ;D Like Loveless, I have no qualms with them, but to be honest with you, I never really did care about their music all that much.

Yes I did but not on Alison mostly cause I didn't recognize the name, so I made no comment. Guess I'll have to check her out as well. I had at least heard of Patty Loveless.

The only one I have a comment on today is Patty Loveless. I really love her music. Like you said, not so well known in the pop world, but she's great. People don't know what they're missing. Faves - How Can I Help You To Say Goodbye?, You Don't Even Know Who I Am, You Don't Seem to Miss Me

>>Better late than never! (d**n internet!!)<< I can sympathize: Our cable modem kept going out all day a couple of days ago (VERY annoying!!!) Kenny Loggins For me, a little goes a long way when it comes to his music …but I DO like “Footlose” and (Ironically) “Love My Music” Loggins and Messina-I, for one, have never quite forgiven them for disbanding. (LOL) Favorite songs are “House At Pooh Corner”, “Daniel’s Song”, and the now very applicable “Your Mama Don’t Dance” (LOL!) Patty Loveless-Well, I can’t think of a particular song right now, but I do enjoy her music. (Oh! I just thought of one: “That kind of Girl”) I also remember her for her changing hair color (At least as of a few years ago. LOL!)--and for what appears to be a friendly smile.

Next time I head over to Sam Goody, I've gotta get buy some Greatest Hits CDs!! Your lists bring back lots of memories. Kenny Loggins - I've always liked him, even before the soundtracks. Faves: Footloose, Danger Zone, I'm Alright, Whenever I Call You Friend, I'm Free (Heaven Helps The Man) Loggins and Messina - Angry Eyes, Danny's Song Love - Softly To Me Patty Loveless - Last Thing On My Mind Loverboy - "Workin' For the Weekend" always gets me movin'! I still get a kick out of their music. Faves: Workin' For the Weekend, Turn Me Loose, Lovin' Every Minute of It, Heaven In Your Eyes (With Ann Wilson) Their videos were full of cheese, but they were so good...

Kenny Loggins: Hit or miss with me. Best like his first 2 biggies and most of his movie hits.
Loggins & Messina: Only like "Thinking of you".
Love: Great group not a lot fhe masses seem to know about. Odd that "My little red book" failed to hit top 40, yet the extreme "7 and 7 is" did.
Patty Loveless:Have heard a few but her best was her very first, "Chains" from '90.
Loverboy: Easily my fave here. Just get any of their hit packages--you have an 80's rock party! Come on baby, LET'S GO!!!!!!
Darn hotel computer! it's not tping wel!

Faves - How Can I Help You To Say Goodbye?, You Don't Even Know Who I Am, You Don't Seem to Miss Me She has a nice combo of traditional and modern country sound.
