I don't remember hearing this on the radio at the time but did have it on K-tel's Block buster LP back in the 70's and also have it on CD (Rhino's Super Hits of the 70's Volume 15) . This was his only chart entry peaking at # 21 in 1975.

Great song - I remember Ali was very popular back then! I only vaguely remember hearing this song on the radio back in 1975, but like you, I have that K-tel Block Buster LP. Lots of terrific songs on that album!  |

I never heard this song until I was in college. My suitemate in the dorm had a tape of some K-TEL album a guy had taped for her. It might be the same album you guys were talking about--I remember I was pleasantly surprised to hear the song "Dynomite" coming from her stereo, as I hadn't heard it in ages! Anyway, the Muhammad Ali song was on the same tape.
