Never was a huge Stones fan, but I've always liked "Fool to Cry". Other faves from this list: Shop Around, Sara Smile, Shannon, Misty Blue and Silly Love Songs. If I never hear those other songs again, it'll be too soon. ;D I remember buying the Stones' Rewind greatest hits cassette back in 1985, mainly for 'Fool to Cry'. At that time, it had been years since I'd heard it, and even today, it's still not played very often on the radio, unfortunately. LOL about the other songs! ;D

Mmmm, dissscoooo. Love it!
More, More, More, Get Up and Boogie (That's Right), Silly Love Songs, Sara Smile - My only favorites from the list, and although I was a HUGE Captain and Tennille fan (as young as I was at the time), I wasn't real big on that particular song. Ugh, my mom remembers me singing along to Muskrat Love every time I heard it.. *cringe* haha!

I loved 'More More More' back then, and it's still a favorite of mine. I remember I just about wore out the 45! I was a big fan of the Captain and Tennille's as well. I like 'Shop Around', but agree that it wasn't their best song.

June 12, 1976....4 days before 8th grade graduation. My two favorites from that summer are Silly Love Songs and More More More. Loved all the others too except the Stones song. I don't believe I know that one.

I don't believe I know that one. That summer was a really great time for music! Here's a link to a clip of 'Fool to Cry': www.mymusic.com/product.asp?curr=0&myptr=addany&muzenbr=139375 . It's very different from most of their 70's material.
