Hi Dawn - Lots of classic here from a very strong summer chart.

Beatles, BST, 3DN, & CCR are all classics. T. James & the Shondells is an often forgotten classic.

Oliver in another song from Hair in the top 10.

Henry Mancini back on top of the charts.

The Winstons & Zager & Evans are both really good one hit wonder songs. In the Year 2525 is one of my all-time favorite one hit wonder songs.

Marvin Gaye's song has special memories for me & my daughter, my favorite today.

Hi dodger! You are absolutely right about the summer charts being strong, and this is a perfect example. The majority of these songs still hold up very well today.
