Hey Dawn! This time I remember two. Nobody Wins I remember fairly well, but never really cared that much for it. Really Wanna Know You - Had to listen to the clip to refresh my memory - but sure, I remember it now. It's pretty good, but I like Love Is Alive a lot better. Hey H2! 'Love is Alive' is another great song by Gary! One thing I've never understood is why 'Dream Weaver' gets regular airplay, but 'Love is Alive' and 'Really Wanna Know You' don't. All three are wonderful!

I really need to check out that Ultimate80s.com site again soon - it looks great! When I tried to listen to it before, I got an error message saying I didn't have the proper version of the player. I'll have to see if I can update it. It really is a great station. I stumbled on it one day. It will do a check of your system and tell you what you need to get up to speed. I started e-mailing in requests, and that's how I got to know the guy who works there. I don't know if he is an owner, or what, but he's a real nice guy. He and I are the same age, and share the same musical taste. He's a huge Talking Heads fan. He knows a ton about music, and I invited him to ML (before I knew about this place), but shortly after it got kind of ugly over there, and I don't blame him if he changed his mind. His office is right down the street from where Al lives, and he tells me how he sees him tooling around town in his BMW. He said that he'd like Al to come over sometime and be on. They're the only station that will play Al songs. Their DJ is Richard Blade. He has a sexy accent. Then I came to find out he's in one of my favorite movies, Girls Jut Want To Have Fun, so I can vouch he's easy on the eyes too! They play a lot of obscure stuff which I like - stuff you don't hear a lot anymore along with the big hits, so you get a nice mix. My only gripe is that they don't display what's currently playing, but he said they're working on it. It certainly makes my day at work go quicker!

Stumped me again! And I have that Rhino Firefall collection, and I don't even recognize the title!

All great ones, especially the ones by Elton, Firefall, and Gary! But "Atlanta lady" is sadly nowhere to be found in my huge collection...yet.

There are no stations around here that play 80's music to any great extent, and the few that do play any hits from that time play the same few songs over and over. That's great about that guy seeing Al, and possibly inviting him to be a guest! I can't figure out why most radio stations are so reluctant to play his songs.

'Atlanta Lady' is pretty hard to find on CD these days, unfortunately. I have a reissue 45 of it with 'Hearts' on the other side, but it would be great to have both songs on CD. I'm hoping Balince eventually goes back into print.
