Absolutely SUPER chart--ALL all-star faves of mine. Including 5 songs that were and would-be #1's. Plus another Grease tune, one of the best rock bands ever, my fave male singer as a pre-teen, a super top 10 disco classic (only 17 when recorded), and one of the best soft-rock tunes ever (in the mold of Steely Dan). All I can say is... WOW!!!!!

10. Don't know it. 9. One of two great one hit wonders on here. Love it. I always sing, "You are a MAGGOT...." 8. Don't know it. 7. The other great one hit wonder on here. Ok, I checked and they DID have another song that peaked at number 40, but to MY ears, they were a OHW! Love this tune! Hard to believe they did country listening to this disco like tune. 6. Good tune that is overplayed. 5. Nice ballad from a great movie. 4. Cool tune that seems ahead of it's time compared to the other tunes on here. 3. Good disco tune we used to sing to my daughter when she was a little baby. 2. Nice, but tired of it. 1. Great title track to a great movie!

Hey Dawn! Fair-to-middlin' chart today, IMO.
10. Shame - Never really cared for this one. 9. Magnet and Steel - Pretty good song 8. An Everlasting Love one of his weaker efforts, IMO 7. Kiss You All Over - This was pretty good. I thought they were going to take off. They never did. 6. Miss You - I hum this one a lot. Good tune. 5. Hopelessly Devoted to You - People seem to forget that this also comes from Grease. Good song. Love ONJ! 4. Hot Blooded - Good one. 3. Boogie Oogie Oogie - Ugh! 2. Three Times a Lady - My fave by the group. 1. Grease - I've always liked it, but (as I may have mentioned before) I know some Broadway purists who thought adding this song to the movie version was an abomination.

Hi Dawn:) 10.I remember hearing this many times back then - good disco tune. 9. One of my very favorite tunes today!! just an awesome pop record . I really like Mathew Sweet's identical remake. 8.There is a website(radio reel top 40) where you can listen to old "airchecks" from the 50's to the 80's some range from as little as 10 minutes to as long as an hour . I was listening last night to one from January 1979 - WABC New York and this tune was included. don't remember hearing it that much at the time. 7. This was HUGE at the time - I thought it was a great song both a buddy of mine and my middle brother had the single. I have it in CD. 6.I like this so much better than Emotional Rescue. 5.A very good ballad that Olivia sings wonderfully. 4.I've always loved this - Among Foreigner's best 3.Loved the bass playing on this - very funky I seem to remember seeing them on American Bandstand back then 2.Liked it back then - still nice to hear once in a while 1.Well alright! listened to it alot at the time.

Hi Dawn - Bad chart today.
Only three songs I really like on this chart are Miss You, Hot Blooded, & Grease.
Three Times a Lady was ok, and Hopelessly Devoted to You is probably my least favorite song from Grease.
The rest - No thanks

Would you believe that I used to sing that about the maggot also! Still do, actually! LOL I don't think I've ever heard Exile's follow-up, 'You Thrill Me' - not sure if it was country or rock. I was surprised also when they started doing country in the early 80's. That's sweet about your singing 'Boogie Oogie Oogie' to Skylar!

I'm surprised too that Exile didn't have more success as a rock act. They had a great sound, and their debut was #1 for 4 weeks - pretty impressive. But that was pretty much the last that was heard from them until 'Woke Up in Love' hit the country charts. I love that scene in Grease where Olivia sings 'Hopelessly'. Wonderful song that doesn't get enough airplay these days.

Hi Ken! I love that reel radio site also! I happened on it last spring, and it was so cool to listen to all those old commercials and songs! Have you ever heard the one from April 1975 with Walt 'Baby' Love of WXLO? That one is close to an hour long, and they play Herbie Mann's 'Hijack' about half way through. Excellent song, but one that probably hasn't gotten any airplay since it was current! 'Miss You' is one of my favorites from the Stones, and is their best late 70's-early 80's work, IMO. Love it. That bass riff in 'Boogie Oogie Oogie' is great, I agree.

I love that song - it has such a cool 70's sound! That clip really does have a great selection of songs in it, I agree. If only radio stations could be half that good nowadays!
