River Band. I don't think the song charted in billboard but it's among my faves from LRB. It was included on their 1978 album Sleeper Catcher as well as being the b-side to the Lonesome Loser 45 (which I have). I was just listening to it last night.

Very good song, Ken! I had not been familiar with it before listening to the sample, but Lonesome Loser has always been a favorite. The only non-compilation album I have of theirs so far is The Net, but I'd like to start getting their other ones. They had such a good sound.
