I hear this every so often on the oldies stations here. Nice blend of country and rock. My parents had another of their records, Amazing Grace (Used to Be Her Favorite Song), only that one is more of a traditional country sound.

Great song, with superb vocals from Roy. I'm not positive, but the pier that's shown a couple of times in the video with the white building at the end looks very much like the Oceanside pier. The windmills are located near Palm Springs - there's literally hundreds of them.

This is one of those songs that I've grown to like more and more as I've gotten older. I haven't heard many of Dorothy's songs, but she has a nice voice. Her follow-up, I Believe You, is a good one also.

This was another track included on the Ktel album, I mentioned below. This is the only song of Dorothy's I'm familiar with.

Roy's voice was always amazing, even when he got older, it never failed him. An excellent song.

This has always been a big fave of mine. I first heard this on the K-tel album 36 Super Gold hits that I received, as a Christmas gift in 1976.

I remember this song well - my mom loved it, and bought the 45 back then. It always reminds me of an accident I had at the swimming pool in summer '79, when I tripped over the stairs of the diving board and fell on my chin, slicing it open. In spite of the dubious memory it's associated with, I still enjoy the song.

RIP, Dan. This has always been a big favorite of mine; I remember well when it came out in 1979. It wasn't until recent years that I learned this was a cover of a Todd Rundgren song. Todd's version is great, too.

I was somewhat surprised to find out that Dick and Don Addrisi were in their 30s when this song came out. They sound younger.
