Good song, from an era that oldies radio sadly seems to be getting farther and farther away from as time goes on.

Wow, this takes me way back. I remember hearing this song on the radio when I was a very young kid - maybe '72.

I bought this 45 by mistake in the summer of '77, thinking it was a different single that was popular at the time. I wasn't too disappointed, though, as this is a really good song in its own right. You don't hear Alice's ballads much these days, but I've always especially liked his softer side.

Like Dawn, I remember hearing this numerous times, when I was little.

Alice's 70's ballads are great - I like 'em!

You and Me, How You Gonna See Me Now, Only Women Bleed, and I Never Cry are four great songs. All four would be in my top 20 Alice songs.

I never cared for this one actually. I never felt that gospel music belonged on the pop or rock charts. If a gospel song was going to cross over, I would think it should be something more dynamic. This song is bland.

I totally stumbled across this one...and it is now one of my favorite songs--The Rolling Stones and Temptations--"Street Fighting Man/Ball of Confusion"...
I'm not normally a fan of "mashups" as they usually sound just as they are--two dissimilar songs slapped together w/o much caution or consideration. But, this one WORKS.

Well, my "main" taste in music differs from everyone else's here, but I'm gonna share a few over the next couple of days that I love......
This song isn't old by any stretch of the imagination. I first heard it while watching BBC. It's the theme for a TV show I enjoy. I did some digging, and was surprised to find that not only is it a full length song, but it was available for free download.
Not the greatest song in terms of songwriting or anything. Nothing Earth-shattering. Just honest all-out groove. I love to roll all my windows down and blare this one:
I realize the video is totally lame (it's just the opening of the show played over and over again), but the band's official video was annoying because they kept talking over the song....

This was a big hit, but I haven't heard it on the radio in years.
