Given today's anti-drug climate, I'm kind of surprised that this song isn't played more often. It's got a serious message, but it's presented in a humorous way. Anyone who has kids(or has been one)can tell you that you can only preach at them for so long before they start tuning out.

Yes, "Venus" is a great track, but the band had a lot of other outstanding songs, like this one!

I have this song on a K-Tel-type compilation LP from the '60s. Nice one that you don't hear very often these days.

I have a 45 of this song. Very catchy little riff! It almost foreshadows the techno sound that would become popular in the '80s.
