I Ain't Got Time Anymore--The Glass Bottle(1971) Caution: If you're not careful, the chorus of this song will wrap around your brain and WILL.NOT.LEAVE. ;D Smitty, I actually have this one on a "No One Else Remembers" mix CD. I guess the song is misplaced. I always liked the song though.

I also have an mp3 of their other hit, The Girl Who Loved Me When, which is a nice ballad.

Here's another lost oldie, although I find it difficult to believe a song that rose to #3 on the charts is somehow lost, this seems to be. I always thought it was a pretty cool song back in 1971. Anyway, enjoy Charlie Brown in the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-r3ZQjIlNI&NR=1

Anyway, enjoy Charlie Brown in the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-r3ZQjIlNI&NR=1I've always loved this song, Woody - never saw the Charlie Brown video before. It makes a good venue for the song. I still do hear the song once in-a-while, but not enough for a song that was #3. I was going to make a statement about The Undisputed Truth being one-hit wonders, but figured I'd do a little research first, and found that they had several other hits o n the R&B and dance charts, and some minor (under the Top 40) hits on The Hot 100 as well. More interesting, however, was learning that they recorded the original version of Papa was a Rolling Stone that was then covered by the Temptations. Even more interesting is that Norman Whitfield was the producer of BOTH the Undisputed Truth and The Temptations. I guess he let his "B" Team try it out before he let the "A" Team take it over. I've never heard the Undisputed Truth's version of the song, and will be on the lookout for it. --- I tried a YouTube Search, and haven't found it yet. But I did hear The Undisputed Truth actually cover a DYLAN song with a similar title: Here's The Undisputed Truth singing -- no joke -- Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" -- I really don't know what to say!

Talk about a sloooow song. Wow, the pace of this song is snail like. And it's 6:35 minutes long. But thanks for all the other info about Undisputed Truth. I only knew of Smiling Faces.

Nice to see some recent footage of Richie; he's aging very well and still sounds great. Kind Woman is a superb song.

"Three Times In Love" - Tommy James One of those great songs that has sadly forgotten by radio. I think I might write up an entry on this song for my blog sometime.

Lucretia MacEvil--Blood, Sweat & Tears(1970) "Lucy, you just so damn bad!" " One of BST's best songs. The horn section sounds fabulous as always, and there are some great instrumental breaks. I've heard this on the radio only a handful of times, which is a shame, as it deserves more exposure.

Now there's a song that I had to hear to remember. The title didn't do it for me. But once I clicked on the YouTube link, it all came back. It's a good one!

I hear it once in awhile on Music Choice's 70s channel--this morning, in fact, which inspired me to post it.

Love Really Hurts Without You--Billy Ocean(1976) Good one, Smitty. I barely remember it. This was like 6 or 7 years before Billy really caught on.
