Crabby Appleton--Go Back: www.youtube.com/watch?v=faa3c8UjtLU(I know--I've almost posted the entire "Have A Nice Day: Superhits of the 70s Vol. 6" album on here. The only difference is the 45 version has a fade-out.)

(I know--I've almost posted the entire "Have A Nice Day: Superhits of the 70s Vol. 6" album on here...) I love that CD!!! I have 3 of those: volumes 6, 12 and 14, and #6 is DEFINITELY my favorite. #14 has too many shortened versions. Plus, I heard all the songs on #12 and #14 when they first came out, and not so many of the ones on #6, so that might be part of the reason I like #6 better--some of the songs weren't as familiar. (well, they are now, 'cause I listen to the CD a lot )

That is one of my favorite Mamas and Papas also, Smitty. And I learned something. I never knew that M&P songs were reissued on Roulette Records. I have a whole bunch of M&P 45s (including Twelve Thirty) and they are all on Dunhill or Dunhill/ABC. When I saw the spinning Roulette record, I figured that who ever had made the YouTube video had just used any old record. But Mr. Google set me straight.

Well -- let me add one of my own. This classic by Washington DC's own - The late James Ray from 1961. Some great blues/soul. (BTW, aside from the opening slide, the rest are apparently just someones scanned photos from back in the day) www.youtube.com/watch?v=U37o2dEpswY

Yeah, I noticed that even before I read the comments section. "Roulette Records?!? They were on Dunhill!" But thunderbird1958 seems to be a knowledgeable collector, so I took his word for it.
