This was Randy's last top 40 hit reaching #28 in 1982. It spent six weeks on the Billboard charts.I remember hearing it quite often back then. I included it on a mix tape I made back in the mid 90's.

Sure do remember it, Ken. Good song. Randy just didn't go as far as he might have after he left the Eagles.

i've got that LP. RANDY was alway one of my favorite EAGLES members; too bad his string of (very good) solo singles didn't fare better than they did. i remember HEART'S ON FIRE, NEVER BEEN IN LOVE, and DEEP INSIDE MY HEART quite well...

I was a huge follower of American Top 40 when I was a kid. I do remember that song, vaguely. It was cool to hear that sample again. Wonder if it is available on itunes.
