In 1992, there was a song called "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. It went to #1 on the Billboard charts. Does anyone remember the song?

It was inevitable that "Lynn" would find her way over here, I suppose...

OK ... what's the game? Who is lynn? "Lynn" posts on the Music Board at Retroland. "She"' always takes a well-known popular song and asks if anyone has ever heard of it. Apparently she never posts on any other topics, or has any discussion in her "have you heard of this" posts. So everyone there also wonders, who is Lynn, and what's the game.

We thought that it might have been DJ Dave, but that seems not to be the case. It's still a mystery, one that seems to have migrated here. -- But I didn't know you were on RL.

I still think the "lynn" on THIS board (notice the lower-case, as opposed to "Lynn" on RL) is one of our Click regulars playing an April Fool's joke. Again, it's not me. I don't even know how to set up fake accounts. But...one of our MODERATING TEAM MEMBERS might. Anyway, I doubt that any of our moderators, knowing "Lynn"'s history on RL, would let him/her/them/whomever onto this board, since they're being very careful of whom they let in. That's why I think it's someone on the "inside". Hmmm...come to think of it, someone here did say something about the possibility of Lynn posting a message re: "I Will Always Love You". If I'm remembering right, I think that speculation was posted by... Pete?

one of the main reasons i was happy to be invited to join this board was to get away from inane "one note" posters like LYN(N), who purposely contribute nothing to any discussion. she completely dominates the RETOLAND music board with her repetitive posts, which she never answers. i am very disappointed to see this kind of stuff cropping up on MUSIC CLICK. if this keeps up, i will take my posts elsewhere, if only to preserve my sanity...
bravo LYN(N)! it's people like you who go out of their way to ruin a good thing for serious minded music fans. thank you, from the bottom of my soul.

Dave, didn't you know that was an April Fool's Day joke by Ed (H2IZCOOL)? I figured it out from the get-go.

nope, all i saw was "LYNN-guest"... Sorry I upset you, Dave. As Laura says, it was all an April Fools joke. Lynn (whoever he or she is) is not here nor will ever be here. BTW, the fact that the listing shows Lynn as a 'guest' indicates that "her" account has already been deleted.
