In 1957, there was a song called "April Love" by Pat Boone. It went to #1 on the Billboard charts. Does anyone remember the song?

How about the song "April Fool" by Homer that didn't hit the Billboard charts. Does anybody remember that song? ;D

Ed really is Homer Simpson. Except his first name is Ed, and his last name, while it starts with an S, is not Simpson. ;D He does, however, live in Springfield. And after spending some time with him, I can say that he does say "D'oh" a lot.
