Picked Smoke Gets in your Eyes. The others are great songs, but I do love the Platters.

Even though Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and 16 Candles are outstanding examples of Doo Wop my vote goes to Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin because it is one of the few songs in the world that I can actually sing well and it knocks 'em dead on Karaoke nights Also it's very clever lyrically, especially for the 1950's

I went with 'I Only Have Eyes for You', my favorite song from the 50's. It has such a mellow, almost mysterious quality to it.

Woo Hoo!! I didn't get locked out on this poll. I get to cast yet another vote for Tony Williams! The Platters "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" -- no doubt in my mind!
