I cast my vote for Percy. My #4 all time fave song. I was thinking that Percy might be able to pitch a shoutout here, but then I think I know one vote that may go elsewhere.

I'm going with Percy also. Bette's version is nice too, but Michael Bolton? No way!

Percy version of this song is the way this song was meant to be sung. Bette version was ok. Michael Who?

Percy Sledge. As Norm Crosby would say, it's anonymous. ;D

Did ya see that vote up there for Bette? Guess ya know where that came from... How can I not pick Bette's version? I mean, Percy Sledge's was good, but I love Bette's. That whole soundtrack is just amazing, and she has such a rocker voice on the album. It just makes When a Man Loves a Woman sound so painful--lost love. Sad songs about unrequited love or lost love or any kind of heartbreak--that's what I live for. I love Bette

Did you see my prediction that Percy wouldn't get all the votes because I was sure that "I think I know one vote that may go elsewhere" Guess who I was thinking of? - You voting for Bette.

I know the term "no contest" is an overused cliche but it was created for moments such as these. Percy Sledge by a country mile.... On the slim chance that anyone picks Michael Bolton, do I have permission to whack them over the head with a rubber chicken?
