I know you've done a Doo Wop tournament,Dave. But how about a plain old '50s tournament. Elvis, Everlys, Platters, Bobby Darin, etc. etc. (or even a pre-British Invasion tournament to take it through 1963.)

This is a VERY tough call. But "2-time 1st round losers" would be interesting. So I voted for that. Anything would be fine, though.

Elvis, Everlys, Platters, Bobby Darin, etc. etc. (or even a pre-British Invasion tournament to take it through 1963.) If and When I do a 50's tourney, it would include the WHOLE decade, and not just the "rock era", so it would also include the likes of Patti Page, Perry Como, Eddie Fisher, Jo Stafford... |
