I wish I saved mines. I know people at work who still has 8 tracks at home. The last one I had and left in Pueto Rico was the one from the movie Grease. Do any of you still have any and which ones do you have?

Hey Cathy! Good day to you! Thanks for kicking off this category with a bang! I thought of this the other day and had Dawn add it! We never had any growing up. My uncle had some. By the time I got some, they were out. I inherited my step mother's along with her stereo. She had about 15, typical 70s lady music, but she did have the excellent Beach Boys Live in London 1969. Then I got a big box from a lady I worked with. I think we ended up giving both of those collections to my uncle who still had a player in his car! LMAO!! Then my in-laws gave me a HUGE box which I may have either sold or donated. The only one we have left is my wife's The Muppet Move from when she was a little kid.

Great topic, Cathy!
Yes, I've still got a few 8-tracks, and a stereo with a player. I used to have a lot more, but ended up having to throw them out because they had deteriorated so badly.
Among the titles I still have are Superstars of the 70's (a 2-cartridge set), Hit 45's of the 70's, Summer Jam '79, Heavy Metal (early 70's hard rock), and Jefferson Starship's Red Octopus.

It is a great idea. I am going to love hearing which music collectibles the members have. It is going to be very interesting. You should keep that Muppet one. I am sure it means a lot to her.

That's a precious possesion, Dawn. Have you listened to them lately? It's been a little while - I think I last listened to them back in the summer of last year. I especially love that Superstars of the 70's set - there are many wonderful songs on it. I'm always on the lookout for 8-tracks at garage sales and such, but they're getting harder and harder to find.

I'll be on the lookout from now on.

The first car I ever had had an 8 Track player in it. I also had an 8 track player on one of my first stereo systems, so I used to buy 8 tracks quite a bit years ago. Unfortunately, I no longer have a player, or any of my 8 tracks. I occasionally see some at garage sales and thrift stores, and I get kinda nostalgic when I look at them. Reminds me of my childhood.
