 Do any of you remember these collectibles? They were miniature replicas of actual album covers that had record shaped gum inside. The gum actually had record grooves, and a hole in the center and everything. Also within the bi-fold sleeve, was a "hit song" lyric sheet and special offers by the manufacturer. I was completely obsessed with collecting the mini-albums. You could buy Chu-Bop cases to hold them and keep them organized. These cases were basically like regular sized album covers but inside there were little slats to hold your Chu-Bop. There were also specialized cases devoted to a particular band or artist that had several Chu-Bops > I have the Beatles one with all of their mini-albums. I have a Foghat one, a Little River Band one, 3 Elvis ones, and the ENTIRE Beatles collection, which I am proud of!
They were so cool!

I used to buy these all the time when they were popular. I've saved several of them over the years--most of 'em still have the gum inside. Let's see...I have Pat Benatar, Heart, Blondie, Foghat, The Knack, and about 8 Elvis ones. I probably have a few more, but can't remember which ones at the moment. What a fun little collectible!

That's right, I have 2 Pat Benatar ones too!! Last night I actually had a dream that I was in an old record store and they had an entire bin of Chu-Bops!! I was going nuts trying to find the Beatles!! LOL |

It's nice to see that some of you still have some Chu-Bops lying around.
I have all of the ones that you all mentioned, I think the only ones I'm missing are a few Elvis 'Bops.
