Have we covered this subject yet here on the Click? Forgive me if we have.
I was doing a little spring cleaning yesterday (I know--it's the middle of winter), and I ran across some of my old t-shirts that I had purchased at various concerts in the past, and some others that I had either bought on Ebay or elsewhere. I discovered I have a fair amount--a few Melissa Etheridge shirts, a couple of Pat Benatar, and even a Joan Jett shirt from several years ago. I don't wear these shirts much-mainly just keep them for sentimental purposes.
What concert t-shirts are in your closet?

Cher and Reba, which I have worn once apiece. But like you said, I keep mine for sentimental purposes.

I still have a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band shirt from The River tour in 1979-80. Needless to say, I haven't been able to wear it for some time.

No we haven't, but it's a great topic!!
I have TONS. Many are "retired".
Retired- Robert Plant Monkees (2-one I bought, one my dad got me) The Storm Genesis Heart Paul McCartney Foreigner REO Speedwagon
Currently still wearing- Beach Boys Boston Yes Martina McBride (2, one from the Christmas concert, although it's just a regular concert shirt. I bought a beautiful one Friday, but it already looks faded after one washing!)
Bekki has some too, including Rush and a Triumph shirt that is now the size of a hand puppet. LOL!!

LOL! Why did he buy it for you? Because HE liked them and he was determined to pursuade me to also.Trouble is,I can be very stubborn. Now,both he and the t-shirt are gone and good riddance to both.

Excellent topic Kathy !
Let's see:
KISS - 4 or 5 all from the '96 / 97 reunion tour - wish I still had my shirt from '79 but it fell apart very quickly
Tom Petty - Into the Great Wide Open Tour
Bryan Adams - Waking Up The Neighbors
Rolling Stones - Voodoo Lounge / Bridges To Babylon Tours
Eric Clapton - World Tour ' 98
The Who - The Kids Are Alright Tour ' 89 - retired
Black Crowes - Shake Your Moneymaker Tour
Trooper (Canadian band) 1975 - 2000 - Celebrate 25 Years
some I wear - and some I keep for sentimental value .

Might as well mention this one--forgot to the other day. Although technically not a "concert" t-shirt, this shirt holds a lot of memories for my husband and me. Way back when, in 1985 or so, Graham Nash autographed a t-shirt my husband was wearing. It was a white t-shirt, with the "Chevy" logo on the front. I probably told the story before, but my husband and I went to the movies one Sunday, and Graham Nash and a couple of his bodyguards were there as well (Crosby, Stills and Nash were in concert in our town the night before--no, we didn't attend the concert, unfortunately). After the movie, my husband and I stopped Mr. Nash in the parking lot, and asked him to sign a couple of things for us. And the t-shirt was one of the things he signed. So the shirt holds a special place in our hearts (and in our closet. LOL).

A T shirt from Bowzer's concert that says "Bowzer's Rock & Roll Party" on it.(btw I'm NEVER throwing it away because Bowzer himself autographed it!) ;D One of my friends & my sister joked with me that I should be buried in it!
