I can't believe I never thought to ask this before! I was so excited, I decided not to wait and just ask right now! I thought it was a good idea to ask because we are all adults, and many adults think it is unheard of at this age. I think it's cool. Do any of you have any rock pictures, posters, souvenirs out on display in your house? I am assuming if you are married, you would probably have them up in a basement or rec room, while you single guys may have stuff right on your living room walls! I, being me, have em in both places! In my living room, I have this beautiful pencil drawing I picked up from Beatlefest. This was done years before George passed. It's G, P & R all sitting on the ground, and at the end is a ghostly image of John! It's such a cool print! This lady did ALL kinds of drawings-Hendrix, Janis, Stooges, Marilyn-and did a good job! I had it professionally framed. As far as the rest of the house, this is actually a bad time for me to make this post! LOL! My basement is being finished, so NOTHING is up! But I can list what I DO have- Plenty of Beatles posters. My prize is a door sized one that is horizontal, and is a shot from the Hey Jude album cover photo session. I also have the poster that was above Jack Tripper's bed on Three's Company! Led Zeppelin Journey Paul McCartney Boston Chicago Eagles Buffalo Springfield-I love that I have this. It was a promo poster for the box set, and I got it from that mom & pop record store I'm always talking about. I also have a life size (almost) stand up of the Beatles that was a promo for the BBC Sessions, I believe. I also have 8 X10's of many artists, including 2 of Martina, one of which is personalized to Bekki. I also have that big store display Martina signed. Can't wait to get all this stuff back up! What do you have?

Just have to tell ya that I love the "I, being me" line. LOL! Well, let's see...I have what I call my "music room". It's actually just the spare bedroom. I, being me, have a lot of Melissa Etheridge posters on the walls of that room. Three large posters, and a couple of album flats. I also have 2 of those thingies that advertise upcoming concerts--promo posters, or whatever they're called. Anyway, they're on heavy cardboard--one's bright orange and one's bright pink. I have a Melissa Etheridge clock that I bought off of Ebay awhile back. The clock is wood, with a glossy pic of her playing her guitar; the words "Melissa Etheridge" in one corner; and the face of the clock in another corner. It's very cool. I also have a cut out type poster of Pat Benatar. It's probably only about a foot tall. It's very fragile though, so I had to put it away instead of displaying it, cuz her head's about to fall off. LOL! I have a small poster of Amy Grant on the wall that a friend of mine bought for me a long time ago. And Adam, you'll be happy to know that I have a Beatles "poster" on the wall! I don't know if "poster" is the right word to use though. It's black and white, shows the 4 guys' heads, and is horizontal instead of vertical. I have it hanging on the wall above the top of the door. Last but not least, a friend of mine gave me a Janis Joplin figurine type thingie for my birthday a couple of years ago. I believe it's from Spawn.com. I've never taken it out of the package, and just hung it on my wall that way. LOL! One more thing: I have some sort of a cloth type doohickey that's shaped like a record hanging on the outside of the door to the room. It says "Rock and Roll" on it. I bought it at a garage sale several years ago for a quarter. I'm quite proud of it. ;D

I have mostly I Love Lucy stuff on my walls, but I do have a few music-related things.
Two tin signs depicting The Wizard of Oz (hey, it's a musical!), a full length Oz movie poster, and a poster from the movie musical Chicago. I have a cardboard mini-poster of Bette that I just got a couple weeks ago. I also have an autographed 8x10 of Lorna Luft (Judy's daughter, for those of you who might not know).
I also have lots of other Wizard of Oz things just sitting around, but that would take too long to list!

Very cool! That pencil drawing of the Beatles sounds especially nice!
Right now, I don't have any music posters up, although in my teen years I had quite a few, including two huge Beatles posters - the half-lit Meet the Beatles cover photo and a replica of a ticket to the August 1966 Candlestick Park concert. I still have the poster that came with the White Album LP also!
I'd really like to make a collage of framed 8x10s of artists I especially love, for the downstairs family room.

Is your family room the one in the pic of you with the cat? They'd look good there!!

I'm just getting around to slowly putting stuff up on my walls (I have tons of Beatles and KISS posters - some are still sealed in the tube!
Right now above my computer in my computer / music room I have my Beatles and KISS calenders.
On the other side of the room I have a framed Beatles mirror that my mom bought me in the mid 70's and another framed picture of the fabs(circa '68 / '69) that was a Christmas present two years ago.
Plus a HUGE stand up display of The Beatles that was used to promote the River Group ' 93 trading cards it looks like a british telephone booth and has compartments for the cards!
In my bedroom above my bed I'm going to be putting up a few Beatles and KISS posters.

I took all of mine down about 3 years ago. The only thing I kept up is a poster of a live shot of me playing a gig in'97. How's THAT for vanity? LMAO

[glow=red,2,300]I have a beach towel of Jim Morrison on my wall, but I am about to take it down to make some more room for my action figures. I'll probably put it on the back of my door.[/glow]
