Some of you (or maybe all ?) are aware that my brother and I sell albums and other memorabilia at our local record shows.

Adam suggested that it might be a cool idea to post what I sold / bought and any cool things I saw for sale, so here we go. We usually have four shows a year - so far two more have been booked one in June and another in September.

DVD's / VHS (Bootlegs) we are allowed to sell them - and quite a few do. Nobody has ever had any problems.

I didn't buy very much this time around just the following:

That'll Be The Day (VHS) - Movie starring Ringo Starr and David Essex from - 1973 an original copy - it's not available on DVD to my knowledge

I never had a really good chance to look around as I was so busy but two albums I saw that were very cool were:
The Beatles - Introducing The Beatles - Vee Jay label - $150
The Flintstones - Original TV Soundtrack - about $200

If that Hit Parader you saw is the one with Paul Stanley on the cover, I got one off ebay last year! I'd bought it when it originally came out in '85, but I threw out all my magazines in the early 90's and lived to regret it.. Wish I could find more of them..

Did you notice if the "Introducing The Beatles" was an "ad back" or not? That's the real money-maker!

Hi Pete - Yup that's the issue of Hit Parader that I bought


The copy of "Introducing" wasn't the "ad back" variation
unfortunately - this copy had the songs listed on the back.

Wow, some of the stuff you get and resell amazes me! Now some of those like the BA red vinyl and The Who original pressing, where did you find them and for how much? And what did you sell them for-if you don't mind sharing all that, that is! LOL!

LOL - No problem buddy

I usually find albums at either garage sales or swap meets but it's getting tougher and tougher to find stuff. both the BA and the Who I found at one of our local swap meets.

Bryan Adams - I picked it up for a $1 and sold it for $15, it may go for alot more but I cannot find any info on the red vinyl. I had been looking for one for years and finally found one. It's only the second copy I've ever seen. My cousin has the other one and he got it back in '84 / '85 brand new.

The Who - I picked this up for around $2 or $3 and sold it for $20

The Martha and The Vandellas LP was a cool find. I picked this up at a swap meet. I paid about $3 for it (I think) and sold it for $25.
