But a friend of mine sent me this a while back & it was written & sung by Bowzer:
"Glasses"
How did people see,
In the fourteenth century
When no one had invented glasses?
Walking all around,
Were they more turned into sound?
Did everything they set their eyes on
Seem to merge with the horizon?
In a wild org@smic frenzy
Blending into all-is one-ness?
Or did they barely squint?
To read the finer print
Scores on scores of squinting people
Kneeling at the groping steeple
Please oh God, give me glasses.....
This was the most BEAUTIFUL song I'd ever heard by Bowzer. He composed it back in 1972. And this showed that there was more to him than the "greaser" side
I listen to it when headaches are bad, or when all hell is breaking loose. (I just wish he'd get back to me about how much I enjoy that song.I've Emailed him twice)
