I'm putting this up early. Been stymied by creative slump and busy-ness at work. We had a slow year last year at work. Schools afraid to spend money. Now the budget year is almost over and they have a budget surplus and want to spend spend spend. Busy, but it's good for us. Still nowhere near as busy as Christmas, though.
Anyway, I heard this song on Degrassi TNG and it's kind of worked it's way in to my head. I was surprised to find that it's a "real" song. So far, all but one or two of the songs heard on that show are made especially for the show, sung by pseudo-groups.
I know virtually nothing about it, or the artist. I do know that it was a minor hit in 1977 or 1978 (depending on what you read), and the co-author is one of the producers of Degrassi TNG.
Anyway, since it's getting warmer, I thought it a good choice. I could find no place to get the lyrics. I found a place to download the song, and I'm going as best I could understand it. Sorry if there are any mistakes.

My Opinion In A Nutshell: It's got the summer romance thing goin' on, and that great 70's sound. The song can be heard at: www.riverdale.ca/snapshots/music.html (it apparently made an appearance on that show too, also brought to you by the Degrassi people - and interestingly enough, Degrassi TNG is shot on the set that show was once filmed on).
