Even though it's hokey (and Sat loves to bust my chops about this guy) I can always turn to him for inspiration. His songs are positive and uplifting and always snap me back to reality.

My Opinion In A Nutshell: Howard got some guff for his happy simplistic songs, but they've always helped me.

Railyn, thank you so much for thinking of me with this dedication. The good vibes are very much appreciated!

There are a lot of good truths in this song. I know I've been guilty in the past of spending too much time worrying and stressing over things that don't matter much in the long term, and not focusing enough on the good things I have to enjoy here and now. This diagnosis has made me come to terms with a lot of things, and one of the things I'm determined to do is to make the most of and appreciate what I have.

I especially like the line about playing the flute, for that fits me so well. I used to play the flute in high school band in 9th grade, but have not pursued it further in over 21 (!) years. That's one of the things I always meant to take up again someday, and now seems like a good time.
