A couple of weeks ago, JP did a post on the Paul Is Dead Theory as a 'this day in music history' theme. I responded by mentioning a radio show on this subject that was produced and played by WKBW radio in Buffalo. Well.. the show was apparently preserved and can be found on line! Go to wkbwradio.com/kb.htmand click on the "Paul Is Alive and Well, Maybe" link the program is a little over one hour long.

Once I heard Paul himself talk about the "Paul is dead" clues some years ago, and he said the funniest thing... something like "Ever since then, people kind of look at me and say, is it him... or is it Memorex?"

"Those freaks was right when they said you was dead."
John Lennon, "How Do You Sleep"
I heard one of those original shows on the radio back at the time of the rumors.

Wow! Had a listen and they came up with "clues" which I never knew about!
I seem to remember reading in one of my Beatle Bootleg reference books that this was available on a bootleg in the late 70's.

I "re-listened" myself for the first time since '69. Some of those clues seemed a little far-fetched, but it was quite a piece of research! I especially liked the mention of Get Back as their 'next album".
