October 13, 1963 - An important date in Beatles history. The Beatles appeared on the BBC’s highest rated television show, Sunday Night At The London Palladium. Over 15 million people in England watched the show that night. Over 3,000 jammed the streets in front of the Palladium to scream for the Fab Four. It got the attention of record labels, promoters and disc jockeys in America. Today in 1963, Beatlemania was only 2 and a half months from infecting the U.S.A.
