If you didn't see it, on the General Board, I suggested 4 new regular features. This is one. Someone else feel free to post a cool picture tomorrow! Here is a promo picture of Buffalo Springfield. BTW-the point of the Picture of the Day is to display a unique, possibly seldom seen picture. Let's stay away from album covers and typical pictures!

What a cool way to post some of the less often seen photos.

Thanks Ken! I tried to post an early Mesnier era Poc picture, but the damn thing wouldn't work! I hate when that happens.

Cool pic, Adam. Where is it from? I just got it off allmusic.com under Buffalo Springfield's entry. It's not the coolest pic, but I had trouble posting a Poco picture. BTW-we were talking in PM's about how you didn't know I had posted this. That was because I snuck in a plug for it in my response to you on the main board!

Great picture. Buffalo Springfield is one of my favorites. As you said on another post, one of the great underrated bands.

Great photo! For some reason, you don't see too many pictures of the Springfield in the music reference books and such.

Stephen Stills had applied for The Monkees. He was rejected because his teeth were too bad. But he told them he had a friend who looked a lot like him and had talent on the same level. His friend? Peter Tork. And in this pic, I can definately see the resemblance.
