Here is a picture of a band that has been unjustly dismissed as "AM pop". I love the band myself! This is the most famous 4 man lineup. From left- Warren Entner, Rick Coonce, Dennis Provisor, Rob Grill

Very cool picture!
I couldn't agree more about their being overlooked. They had many great songs, but only a few of them seem to get much play anymore.

Glad you bumped this up, Adam, I missed it. I love these guys. I made a cd compilation from all my Grass Roots 45s a little while ago, and play it often. -- You know, the term "AM pop" needs to go away. It really doesn't mean anything anymore. AM stations hardly play any music at all. Maybe "Top 40" is more accurate, but it encompasses a whole number oif genres. Anyway, the Grass Roots can play on any AM, FM, TV, computer, etc., and I'll listen to 'em.

Great pic. These guys were huge when I was growing up. Many, many great hits. I really got into them in early high school, listening to the oldies station who played them tons!
