I've just gotten deepr into Raspberries and their Lead Singer Eric Carmen. I'd been quite familiar with their hits, but was just playing them and realized (again) how much Eric sounds like Roy O. I was even imagining how Roy would sound singing lead for the Raspberries or doing some of Erics solos. (I'm not aware that Roy ever did cover Eric's songs or vice versa.)

Anyway in doing some of my research on Eric, I came across a couple of then and now pics and thought I'd share.

LOL--never thought about the similar name--There was actually an "Eric CarMAN" in my high school a few grades below me. Funny...

Anyway, Yes, I do hear some similarity betrwen the Big O and Mr. Carmen! And hearing Roy singing with the Beach Boys on "Make me lose control" and "She did it" would have been so AWESOME!
