Without question, JP. And as much praise as this album DOES get, I still don't think enough is said about it's influence and how it changed popular music. There'd be no Sgt Peppers without Pet Sounds. The Beach Boys and Beatles had a beautiful, healthy competition. (I always felt those two spurred each other on, not the Stones and Beatles) This really is a great feature-and you thought you had nothing to post! |

This is a beautiful album, and I can honestly say that no other album has had quite the same effect on me as this one has. I agree with Adam that it doesn't get enough credit for its role in changing popular music. Brian Wilson's production is absolutely phenomenal, and the writing is top-notch.
