Which of your stations play these artists? Part 3

Third installment.


America-Timeless Rock plays a good variety, including songs Classic wouldn't touch like Tin Man and Lonely People. Classic Rock did, and then eliminated it before it went off the year. The small Classic Rock station plays Golden Hair, Horse and Ventura. Oldies, Lite.

American Breed-Oldies. Timeless does on their "Roots" program and I believe occasionally in their normal sets.

Andy Gibb-not really anyone, although I'm sure the Lite breaks him out.

Andy Kim-Oldies.

Andrew Gold-I don't know that anyone does. MAYBE Lonely Boy has been on Timeless. Don't think oldies does.

Angel-NO ONE!

Animals-Oldies sticks to the "big 5" (House, Gotta Get Out, Misunderstood, Life, Don't Bring Me). They stay away from the Eric Burdon era. Timeless pretty much does the same, doing the Burdon stuff during the "Roots" program.

Anne Murray-I guess Lite does, but not too much. I don't think even Oldies plays her.

April Wine-Unfortunately, not much of anyone. I guess Rock does during Deep Cuts or 80's weekends. I can picture the small Classic Rock station doing Just Between You and Me, although I don't know that they do.

Aretha Franklin-Oldies. And Timeless Rock has started to play Respect.

About five years ago, there was a new station in Boston which played a mix of Soul/R&B/dance (Star 93.7). The cool thing about this station was that it played a good mix of old and new. You'd hear B.T. Express, EWF, Barry White, and Andy Gibb in their regular rotation alongside current hits by Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin. A lot of the older songs were tunes that have been "lost 45's" for years.

I think the station still exists, but I stopped listening after about a year after it went on, because they were playing less older stuff and more newer stuff.
