I saw them in concert last night!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!!! I was 10 rows back, slightly higher than the stage on the John Taylor side. Then some people who were closer left my 'dancing partner' and I stole their seats.... I was only 3 rows back.....WOOT!! They are awesome and I swear Simon doesn't age...he still looks as good as he always did!! It was awesome to be on sexy John Taylor's side of the stage this time. I wish I could meet them someday They did this set at the concert....LOVED IT!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpvpFfvWH8Ewww.youtube.com/watch?v=s-7dLdjyumE&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=cVg2_G5FXh8&feature=relatedThey sang the reflex this time!! WOOT!! They didn't play it at either concert I went to in 2005 It is so cool interacting with the band when you are so close Has anyone seen them in concert? ?? You should go....... NOW!!! Duran Duran were one of the underrated bands of the 80s. Critics sometimes dismissed them for their lack of lyricism and being teen pinups. While their work isn't the Beatles, they had catchy pop tunes and were very good musicians. I own their "Greatest" CD and recommend it anyone!

I saw Duran Duran in concert back in 1999 (in Virginia, of all places!)with my sister, who was a HUGE Duranimal back in the 80s. My sister's in-laws lived back east at the time, and when she was back there visiting them, she won four tickets on some radio program after answering an obscure question about them. So needless to say, I got a chance to cross the Mississippi for the first time in my life, and also got to see Simon LeBon's smiling face for the first time, too. It was a trip and a half! Great concert!
