Back in the late 80's / early 90's I was buying many of the CD's for my collection used. Today, I am still on the lookout at local swap meets etc I still (on the rare ocassion) find something that I'm looking for, but nowhere near what it used to be.
The Jayhawks disc listed below is the latest disc that I've found. I bought it about two months ago.

I've gotten quite a few CDs used; some of them, off the top of my head: Franke & the Knockouts - Sweetheart Collection Van Halen - Van Halen Led Zeppelin - IV Queen - Greatest Hits Doors - Best of Brian Wilson & Van Dyke Parks - Orange Crate Art Janis Joplin - Greatest Hits Wilson Phillips - California Beach Boys - Still Cruisin' Also several various artists CDs, including Volume 2 of the Have a Nice Day series. That was the first of the 25 volumes to go out of print, so I was happy to have come across that one when I did!

Ken & Dawn, A rather large portion of my CD collection is used as well. I also find some great stuff at flea markets, the used section where I work and even church bazaars. Here are just a few of the favorites I have found as used, but still near perfect condition. "At the Close of the Century" 4 disc set of Stevie Wonder "The Best of Spandau Ballet" "Last of the Independents" Pretenders "The Queen Is Dead" Smiths "Kick" INXS "Past Masters Vol. One" Beatles

Probably about 75% of my CD collection is used (I'd rather pay $5 - $9 rather than the $14 - $18). We have two used CD stores here. One is a Hastings, they sell both new & used CDs, DVDs, & books. The other is a CD Tradepost (the also have used CDs & DVDs). Both have a pretty good selection of used CDs. I haven't been CD shopping in a while, but the last few used CDs I got include:
Eliminator - ZZ Top Sailin' Shoes - Little Feat Lost Highway - Bon Jovi Don't Shoot Me, I'm Just the Piano Player - Elton John The Long Road Out of Eden - Eagles 20th Century Boy: The Ultimate Collection - Marc Bolan & T. Rex Led Zep III - Led Zep Houses of the Holy - Led Zep Toys in the Attic - Aerosmith Time Capsule - B-52s Led Zep II - Led Zep American Beauty - Grateful Dead Madman Across the Water - Elton John Premonition - John Fogerty The Way It Is - Bruce Hornsby & the Range The Best of the Original Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac The Wall Live 1980-1981 & Is Anyone Out There - Pink Floyd (a double CD) 42 Ultimate Hits - Kenny Rogers

The Doors CD you listed above, is it this one? If it is, I have the same one! I can't believe how much their catalogue has been reissued in the last few years.

You mean someone got tired of it that quickly? I thought it was odd as well Ed, but there it was, so I snapped it up. My guess is some college kid needed beer money or something.

I have #'s 6, 12, and 14. #6 is my favorite. Laura, All great volumes! I was just listening to a few tracks from Volume 6 a couple of nights ago. The thing I hate about #14 is that so many of the songs are shortened versions. I usually only listen to a few songs on that one.
