The location is the Verizon Center in the heart of ol' DC. .. and the event is ... The EAGLES !!In Concert. Their Long Road Out of Eden Tour! And Nancy and I have tickets! We literally have not gone to a real concert since before we were married. In fact we've only seen one concert (Wings over America) in the summer of '76, since the last time we saw the Eagles.  Apparently the concert will include several songs from Long Road, and several classics. We are quite excited. -- and I'll get to do a concert review post for you guys.  |

Hi Ed !  That's excellent!!! Like Dawn, I'm also envious that you had the chance to see McCartney in '76. My older cousin and a few of his buddies also saw the show when Paul was in Seattle. |

That's great, Ed! I know you and Nancy will have a fabulous time at the show. I must admit, I am envious that you got to see the Wings Over America tour! That must have been amazing. I remember that by the time we decided to see the show it was nearly sold out. The only tickets we could get were behind the stage. -- But we were really close, behind the stage, and I remember Paul turned around and faced us for two or three songs. So that was rather cool! |
