Updating the previous rounds...the winners earning a spot in Bobby, the Gremashlo family jukebox are--

#3--WITHOUT YOU by Nilsson
#4--DREAM ON by Aerosmith, in a blowout

And, the songs advancing to a consolation final...

VALLERI--the Monkees
SWEET TALKIN' WOMAN--ELO
CRUEL TO BE KIND--Nick Lowe (the tie was broken by me)
PIPELINE by the Chantays and SIGNS by Five Man Electrical Band

This round, like the others, is a broad collection, with some non-hits and some all-time classics...but, what will the voters decide?

The record that this round is voting to replace is..."Saturday Night" by the Bay City Rollers.

All I know is that my selections, outside of "Without You", have been pounded like little girly mon! I'm trying not to take it personally...

For some reason, this has been the toughest for me to vote on--had about SIX of these ready to select--but FINALLY broke down with "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Five O'Clock World", though "Porpoise Song", "Black Water" "When Doves Cry" and "Na Na Hey Hey" wi;ll haunt me for not selecting them.

I agree, this is a tougher call. I went with Black Water and Strawberry Fields Forever, but The Porpoise Song, When Doves Cry and Hooked on a Feeling weren't far behind.

A strong vote for Black Water, a weeker vote for I Want Candy. After that it was I Saw Her Again and Five OClock World

I'm with you Brother Grem & Dawn, this one was tough, mostly for song 2. Mr. Tambourine Man was a no-brainer. Song 2 became I Saw Her Again, but it could have easily been any one of a half-a-dozen other songs.

Great choices but I'm going for "I Hear You Knocking" because I feel Dave Edmunds is grossly underrated and a vote for "When Doves Cry" by the Purple One!

It's from the Monkees' movie, "Head"--it barely made a dent in the charts, despite being a very good Mann-Weill song, which shows that the Monkees were slipping in popularity...it's very psychedelic, and the YouTube scenes that show it in the movie are rather disturbing...

It's another oddity that the 45 is longer than the soundtrack album track...
