One More Round for the Weekend...then back to the polls on Monday!
So far, Round Five looks to be a complete snarl, with votes spread out among EIGHT songs, but not everyone has voted yet...
REMEMBER--ALL THE ROUNDS ARE STILL OPEN, so if you have not voted yet, you still can!
The single being replaced this round is..."Good Lovin'" by the Young Rascals.
ROUND SIX looks to be another total mix of styles, tastes and genres, from Bob Marley covers (STIR IT UP) to 60's garage band pseudo-punk (JUST LIKE ME) to classic soul (I'M YOUR PUPPET, BABY I'M YOURS) to British Invasion (DO WAH DIDDY DIDDY)...let the public speak and VOTE!

Another HARD one to pick a #2--I am a rabid Paul Revere fan, so "Just Like Me" was an easy pick, but the #2 pick literally could have been any of the remaning ten! I finally went with "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", though I LOVE Barbara Lewis (but "Baby I'm Yours" reminds me of a girlfriend I had BEFORE I met my wife, which could make that one hard to explain to the missus)...

I like quite a few of these songs, so this was another difficult call. I ended up choosing Rocky Mountain High and Time Has Come Today.

I picked "Already Gone" and "Peggy Sue". The only thing that kept me from choosing "Time Has Come Today" is the fact that it's probably a shortened version!

I can't speak for Grem, Laura, but I know that the 45 version of Time Has Come Today that I own is significantly longer than the radio edit. - Now it's not the 11 minute version, but it goes for something over 4 minutes and has all the echoey parts in it. (I'm at work, and don't have the record in front of me, so I can't tell you exactly.)

This is the 4 minute version that basically hacked out the middle 3-4 minutes of the album track, and that is commonly heard on oldies radio...
