A TOUGH, TOUGH round is #8...
I cringed when I saw how this one came out...so many GREAT songs...I've looked at the list six times, and each time I change my vote!
This may easily wind up like the last two rounds, with voting spread so thinly that a "dark horse" (no, not George Harrison's song/vanity label!) could slip through--but WHERE is there a dark horse in this bunch?
Vote Away!

Okay...the dart board is in place...sections of the board are labeled for each song...my eyes are closed...
THWACK! "Meooowwr! Pfft! Pfft!"
Oops, nailed the cat. My bad!
Let's try again...throw #1---it hit "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart!
Throw #2--It appears to have landed RIGHT BETWEEN "EVerybody Plays the Fool" and "Baby Blue", but upon closer inspection, it is closer to The Main Ingredient's sole big hit...
Of course, as it seems my votes are the musical "kiss of death", we'll see how the darts played out!

You're right, Grem. These are tough. My #1 is Everybody Plays The Fool (in my all time top 250) and my #2 is Badfinger's Baby Blue (the most underappreciated of their four hit songs, IMO).
Maggie May and Different Drum were 3rd and 4th, respectively.
BTW, if anyone votes for My Sweet Lord, do they have to pay royalties to The Chiffons?

My Sweet Lord (Ain't payin') #1 song & Baby Blue #2 song, both beating out Carry on Wayward Son & Feelin' Stronger Everyday.

I took Baby Blue and Feelin' Stronger Every Day, but several others were in extremely close contention. Great round of songs.

BTW, if anyone votes for My Sweet Lord, do they have to pay royalties to The Chiffons? No, but Allen Klein will demand creative control of thier next five MUSIC CLICK postings.
