Since quite a few of us on the Click are big McCartney fans, I thought it might be interesting to do an Album Survivor game with one of his albums. This hits collection isn't as comprehensive as Wingspan, but it gives a good overview of Macca's solo career with and apart from Wings up to 1987, when the album was released. Lots of great songs represented.
For these first few rounds, let's go with three choices per round. Voting for Round 1 will be open until Friday morning.
I'm going with No More Lonely Nights, C Moon and Live and Let Die.
How about you?

Hmmm...that makes 2 for "Live & Let Die". "Say Say Say" and "Uncle Albert..." were the other ones I voted out. I don't know "C Moon".

Ooooh.....this is tough, man! I'm sorry in advance, Paul. My vote goes to "C Moon", "No More Lonely Nights", and "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey".

I swear, I must be the only person here (or one of the few) who has never heard "C Moon". Or at least the title doesn't sound familiar. If I heard the song, I _might_ remember it.
A few minutes later: I did a google search and read thru' the lyrics. Nope, don't recognize it (at least not from reading it)!

C Moon was originally the B-side to Hi, Hi, Hi, which was included on McCartney's first hits collection, Wings' Greatest, but left off this one. C Moon also appears on the remastered Red Rose Speedway, since it was recorded around the same time as that material.
I agree with Pete that putting C Moon on this collection was a waste, and I've never understood the reasoning behind the choice. It's true that it was more popular in the UK, since the A side Hi, Hi, Hi was banned by the BBC for supposed drug references, but very obscure in North America. Why not include one of Paul's other hits, like Take It Away, Maybe I'm Amazed, Arrow Through Me, or Letting Go instead? Or if they were intent on including a B side, why not Sally G, which was a hit in its own right, or Girls School?
It's a great album, but admittedly, C Moon kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.

Dawn, I don't recognize the title "Letting Go", but I recognize the others you mentioned. And I must add this--when I first saw the title "C Moon" in this thread, I thought it said "C'mon" until I got a better look!

Easily, the two duets a C Moon. The Wacko duet needs to be abolished off the earth.

Oh my gosh.....I so agree. "Maybe I'm Amazed", especially, was a gazillion times bigger (and better) than C Moon. "Amazed" was one of his best songs! And "Take it Away" (another favorite) was HUGE back in '82. As a side note, my husband and I always get a laugh over this album, as on the CD, the liner notes for "Live and Let Die" say (or at least were written on our copy), "When you were young and your heart was an open "boo". Every time we hear that song now, we have to sing it that way with "BOO" practically being yelled out.
