Just so everyone knows, the last thing I said last night I was going to watch a movie with the family and I'd be back. Well I did come back-at least I tried to. Starting yesterday morning when I got up at noon-er-nine, the net was down. And we have the deal where the phone and cable is all hooked in with it. So everything was screwed up! I couldn't watch Price is Right!! Anyway, it came back up later, and went up and down for part of the day, but then by the time our movie was over, cable was out the rest of the night. So I didn't ditch ya!! Yeah. We have that same kind of deal through Verizon, and lost cable, internet and phone all together one day last week. That really gives you a helpless feeling. If our power goes off, we at least have battery backup for our phone, but if the phone itself is out, that's not good. |

There are no cell towers nearby. I remember we were forever dropping calls when we lived in Ontario, especially from our house. Sprint told us we were apparently in a "service hole" and that there was nothing they could do.  Fortunately, ever since we moved to Corona a year ago, we haven't had as much trouble. |

Well looks like the party is over. I'd like to thank everyone for coming.
We had 19 partygoers, started several great new music threads (check them out if you haven't seen them) and welcomed back several old friends who we hadn't seen in a while including Kitty, Logan, njamateurguitar, mc, and Nomi.
Also wanna say that it certainly seemed like old times seeing both Pete and Adam with some great new music posts.
I see cairnterrier is on this morning. Sorry you couldn't make the party this past weekend, but it's good to see you today!
I will be gathering appropriate song data from the party and will compile a "Memories of Homecoming 2008" CD in the near future.

Actually...sorry I haven't been here in a REALLY, REALLY long time!! ...like almost a year or so (?) I got consumed with life as a mom and going back to work, moving, and just life in general! I have to say I don't have a lot of free time these days, but things at work have slowed down a little and maybe I'll check in every so often again.
