So - I tried to login to The Click about four hours ago or so. And I couldn't. My computer kept grinding away and grinding away and then eventually it went to a "this page cannot be displayed" message. I checked around and found I could get onto ML, but not a couple of other Proboards pages. After a while, I got a "cannot connect to server" message. Not an HTTP 404, but still..... I started thinking about the fire last spring and was wondering if we were having a repeat. But I guess everything is at peace again.

I would have hoped that HTTP 404 didn't happen here. That would be ever so awful. We're not Arell.

Yep, I had trouble accessing it this morning as well, so I looked over at the Proboards support forum to see if any other boards were having the same trouble. Apparently the server we are on went down for some reason and it took a while for the mods to get in touch with the tech support staff, but once they were notified, it wasn't too long after that the problem was resolved. I got the "cannot connect to server" messages also - I think that was when they must have been rebooting the system.

Young Patrick and the other YL/RL PTB may think nothing of pulling the plug and leaving members in the dark as to what happened, but unless Proboards itself goes down permanently, you can rest assured that will not happen here.
