Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues - Danny O'Keefe 3.5
Not a bad song at all
The Safety Dance - Men Without Hats 2.1
When I first heard this back in the day, I just said What IS this? Has music gotten this bad? Don't hate it quite as much now, but still far from a fave.
Long Train Runnin' - Doobie Brothers 4.0
What I'd like to say is, I'm not familiar with that song, but aren't these the same guys who sang "Without Love Where Would You Be Now?" Now that's a GOOD song.
Five O'Clock World - Vogues 4.1
I didn't appreciate how sophisticated this song was back in the day.
I Can't Go for That (No Can Do) Hall & Oates 3.0
It's okay. Not a big fan of theirs.
Twilight Time - Platters 4.7
All time song #96. I really love the Platters They are my favorite '50s act, and this is my second-favorite by them.
Heartache Tonight - Eagles 3.7
A really good one by my favorite group of all time. But the song itself doesn't reach the top dozen of their songs.
Cool It Now - New Edition 0.7
Ugh!!
Somebody to Love - Jefferson Airplane 4.2
Wonderful memories of that summer.
Gloria - Laura Branigan 3.6
Fine song, but only my third favorite song titled Gloria
Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder 3.5
Not a fave of mine by Stevie, but if I hear it on the radio, I'm humming it for the rest of the day.
Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying - Gerry & the Pacemakers 4.2
This is a beautiful song. Top 500.
Centerfold - J. Geils Band 3.0
Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard - Paul Simon 2.2
There is very little solo Paul that I like.
The Rain, the Park and Other Things - Cowsills 4.4
By far, the best song ever by the Cowsills. Too bad it was their first. This was their only song ever that was three dimensional (all their other stuff was barely two dimentional, if that makes any sense.)
