FWIW, on a site I read, it's claimed the album version of "Sunshine" is ever-so-slightly more risque than the single version, the one played on the radio. Can't vouch for that til I get a record player.

Remember "We'll Sing In the Sunshine" was out in '64. A girl offering to shack up with a guy for a year was not exactly common - and even when it was done, it wasn't talked about. Even the single is fairly risque for its time.

Perhaps Marianne Faithfull's "Come and Stay with Me" (1965) was in a similar vein.

Great positive vibe and super lead vocal from Eddie Levert. Always love the songwriting of Gamble and Huff.

Massachusetts - Bee Gees 3.75
Being from the state, of course of going to love it! I love the Bee Gees early period.

Time Out of Mind - Steely Dan 4.25
Their last top 40 hit and one of their underrated songs.

Torn Between Two Lovers - Mary MacGreggor 1.0
Always thought this song was lame!

Pat is the ultimate rock n' roll chick!

Fun! Fun! Fun! - Beach Boys 5.0
Had the 45 as a kid and I have been a fan of the Beach Boys ever since.

Spooky - Classics IV 3.5
Dennis Yost had such a cool voice. Wasn't this song remade in the late 70's, I vaguely remember it?

Broken Wings - Mr. Mister 4.25
I love the lyrics. A song of redemption and rebuilding.

At The Hop - Danny & the Juniors 3.5
A fun and danceable oldie.

Whatcha Gonna Do - Pablo Cruise 3.0
