I've always advocated keeping his account open in case he was looking for a place with some sanity, but he told me a while back that our music knowledge trumped his by leaps and bounds, and he just didn't feel he had anything to offer in that area.

Well, hell...my music knowledge predating 1979 is a bit rusty myself, so tell MM not to feel so badly! He's always welcome here!

Happy birthday, MM!
From what I remember of him on other sites, MM seemed to know quite a bit about music, so I think he is underestimating himself. But, even if he doesn't feel comfortable about the music aspect, we have good discussions on other topics. In any event, the door is always open for him, and I hope he'll rejoin us someday.
